discover the adventure
In a 2CV or Dyane. An unforgettable experience for those who dare.
16 days of adventure in a 2CV
Not a rally. Not a speedcontest. This is travel at its purest. Slow. Intense. Real.
From Malaga to the vast slopes of the Moroccan desert, around Iceland, or right through Lapland to the North Cape. Through mountains, through snow and endless landscapes. You behind the wheel of an iconic 2CV. Learning, laughing, no doubt sometimes cursing, but always filled with that unique sense of freedom.
Highlights?
Lots! A night in the desert, by the campfire, under a starry sky you’ll never forget. Be astounded at what a 2CV is actually capable of, with the roof open and the wind in your hair. The smiling people along the road, waving friendly.
Pulling together when that one car gets stuck in sand or snow, and enjoying a well-deserved meal when everyone has finally arrived at the destination.
Why this adventure?
Every trip is unique, no copy-paste routes; new trails, accommodations, and experiences everytime.
Blood, sweat, and tears make the story: tinkering, learning, persevering.
No polished tourist itinerary.
Small groups, super exclusive.
Not a trip for everyone
This is intended for those who want to experience the country in all its authenticity, carying just the basics in a rudimentary oldtimer.
For those who dare!
Not a standard trip. We deliver a unique experience you are unlikely to forget. Yes, it is a bit pricey. Then again, you’ll have the experience of a lifetime!
we assist you
we know the region
Thanks to our own traveling experiences and an extensive network of 2CV-adventurors, we can offer routes which are most challenging, yet achievable with your own car. And of course we are ready to offer technical assistance when required.
arranged overnight stays
You can focus completely on the driving, navigating and the enjoyment of the beautiful landscape, because we have already arranged the overnight stops. Often a campsite where we will cook together and, when permitted, build a campfire, sometimes a hostel or hotel for the odd moment of comfort and local hopsitality.
we journey together!
As we travel in small groups, we get to know eachother quickly. We’ll have to work together regularly: setting up camp for example, and preparing our meals. Or with the inevitable pushing and pullig in sand or snow, or an unexpectedly steep slope.
Cooperation is an intrinsic part of our travelplanning: these routes are virtually impossible without the help of other teams!
